There was once a pilot and jet-setter named Richard Setzard, a wanderer
and playboy who took chances with all he had and traveled wherever the
wind would carry him. In a game of chance he won a large urn which was
soon broken. From the shattered fragments rose an otherworldly being
summoned from another world. Its name was Madwyn, and after befriending
Setzard he began to teach him the mystic arts. So leaving the past behind,
this fledgling spellcaster has decided to use the combat-ridden zones
of Paragon city to refine his abilities and increase his powers.
Richard has learned how to harness the powers of the earth, and winds.
His powers primarily being elemental, allow him to summon powerful gusts
of wind, and even make the very ground leap up to grapple his opponents,
with his experience his powers grow. His current abilities make him
very adept at elemental magic with the exception of water, and fire
at his command. He continues to learn new spells, and enhance his knowledge
of magic, and the occult.
